Even if they eventually stop coming to visit, if Yato-san and the others’ lives improve, I’ll be happy.

Personally, I’d be grateful if there are carpenters among the migrants.

Yato quickly gathered them. Out of the 38 who came, 7 were carpenters or blacksmiths, and they went straight to work under Rozzo-san and Sid-san.
I felt bad, but the remaining 31 couldn’t live here yet since there were no houses, so they had to return to Mount Edelgius.
They had come expecting to migrate immediately, only to be sent back right away—it’s unfortunate, but this can’t be helped.
“Once the homes are ready, we’ll contact you, so please wait until then.”

“No, thank you. I’m the one glad to have more helping hands.”
“I want to give you some kind of gift, Sato! You didn’t accept one the other day!”
“No gift is necessary. But if I may ask for something in return… even if farming becomes possible around Mount Edelgius, I’d like you and Ashros-san to continue visiting.”
I decided to voice the thought I’d had earlier.
Though I was embarrassed, I managed to say it. The two of them, however, only stared blankly at me, mouths slightly open, as if they couldn’t process my words.
“…It seems that didn’t come across, so let me repeat it. Even if you can farm around Mount Edelgius—”
“No, we understood perfectly. It’s just… right?”
“Exactly! It was so obvious it didn’t register! Of course we’ll keep visiting! In fact, before long, we fully intend to migrate here ourselves!”
